An Evening Among Stars & Festival of Trees

Updated: Jan 26, 2023

Due to our efforts to support autistic adults through ACES BARKery, we were recognized with a Star Award at the Star Shine Gala presented by SPECTRUM. This award celebrates local businesses who are successfully employing individuals with autism. The ACES BARKery is still in its early stages, but it was such as incredible honor to be included in this special night.

We are PAWS-itively thrilled to be a part of the Aurora Theatre Festival of Trees this year! On Nov 25, 2022 through Dec 22, 2022 bring your new unwrapped toy or non-perishable grocery item to place under your favorite tree (OURS ) to benefit local charities this holiday season.

This year they are collecting: Toys: All toys must be new and unwrapped. Our goal this year is to donate 2022 toys directly to families in need! Sounds like a lot – but with your help, we know we can not only meet this goal, but beat this goal! Your generous donations are welcome! All toys donated will be divided equally between Lawrenceville Boys and Girls Club and the Festival of Trees SW in Partnership with B.L.A.C.T. Atl. (Black Leaders Advocating for Cultural Theatre).

Grocery Items: Non-perishable foods and personal care items. Most needed food items: applesauce, canned chicken, pasta sauce, jelly. Most needed personal care items: liquid dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, diapers (adult and children’s sizes: 5-6/2T-3T pull-ups), toilet paper, wipes. These items will be donated to the Lawrenceville Co-Op.

Pet Supplies: New this year: we’re collecting for dogs and cats in shelters. Most needed items: dry dog/puppy food, dry or canned cat/kitten food, sealed treats, dog and cat shampoo, general cleaning supplies, pet and hardware store gift cards. Donations for our furry friends will support local animal shelters through Operation Santa Paws for Pets.
