ACES participated in our very first vendor event at the 2019 Atlanta Housing Panel and Resource Fair! What an incredible evening filled with fantastic information about housing models for adults with developmental disabilities. The panelists were: Tim and Beate Sass of Better Living Together, Jane Shaw and Brian Dewey of Twin Magnolias, Natalie Christianson of Just People Inc., Anna Maki of the Bobby Dodd Institute, Lillian Gibson of JF&CS Atlanta, and Sandra Rice of Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. We learned a great deal through the presentations and discussion and appreciated the opportunity to connect with individuals, families, and organizations hoping to improve housing options in our local communities and beyond.
