Building Supports for Brighter Futures

Did you know that in Gwinnett County alone, there are over 20,000 individuals with autism? While the autism community has made gains in awareness and acceptance, the need for supports and services in our area continues to be great. An organization close to my heart is Spectrum Autism Support Group. They have been there for families for the past 24 years. I turned to them when my own son was diagnosed as a child, referred parents to them as a teacher, and I continue to direct families to Spectrum today! Clair Dees, her staff, volunteers, and parent groups have been an invaluable resource for countless families and autistic individuals over the years.

Recently, Spectrum shared some exciting news. They have purchased a building to house the Spectrum Autism Support Center! This permanent site will serve Gwinnett's families with opportunities for training/workshops, support groups, respite, camps, social support groups and more!

ACES is thrilled to support their efforts as a donor in their capital campaign with a $2500.00 donation. We can't wait to see the positive impact the new Spectrum Autism Support Center will make! For more information please visit: https://atl-spectrum.com/spectrum-capital-campaign/
