ACES has partnered with New Directions for Autism to provide an exciting opportunity for participants in their day program…The ACES BARKery! We offer small-batch, handcrafted dog treats using natural, human-grade ingredients. But ACES BARKery isn't just about making all-natural treats dogs will love. We also focus on valuable life skills via our real-world lessons as our awesome bakers at New Directions for Autism enjoy the purposeful experience of creating and packaging our tasty treats! As we hand-roll, hand-cut, and bake our treats with care, we target the following skills:
Communication
Problem Solving
Independent Living
Career/Vocational
Motor Skills
Social/Behavioral Skills
Proceeds from our sales will be reinvested into our mission to provide meaningful opportunities for autistic adults in our community to live fulfilling, joyful lives while flourishing in a safe and secure environment. Specific funds will be earmarked to go directly to the Community Skills/Recreation and Leisure activities New Directions for Autism offers which are not covered by waiver funds.
