As we shared last month, our Holiday Food Drive was so successful that we decided to extend the collection of donations into the Spring. Our friends at New Directions for Autism organized and delivered the non-perishables donated in our food collection bins each week. In April, they also shopped for the specific items requested for the Co-Op's Easter Box Program. Then, they sorted the items into boxes and delivered THIRTY filled boxes to be distributed to families in need! What a wonderful way to work on life skills for our helpers while also making a positive impact on the community through their efforts. Over 250 Easter Meal Boxes were distributed and we are thrilled to have provided a helping hand.
Once again we want to say how much we appreciate the generosity of those that support our efforts through direct donations or by participating in one of our fundraising events. Great acts are made up of small deeds. Thank you for your part in helping ACESGA do great things!
