Thanks to the generosity of our ACES Charity Poker participants we were able to collect 1,184 pounds of non-perishable items for the North Gwinnett Co-Op! In the words of their Community Outreach Director, "This is a LOT of food, so THANK YOU!!"
Not only did our February and March Food Drive benefit the Co-Op, but the collection, sorting, and delivery of these food items became a part of the skill building curriculum at New Directions for Autism. This means your donations helped not one, but TWO wonderful programs! Isn't that fantastic news?!
Even better...the impact of your giving will continue into the Spring as we support North Gwinnett Co-Op's Easter Meal Boxes program. Once again we will team up with New Directions for Autism allowing participants to develop important life skills as they shop for requested items, assemble and label the boxes, and deliver them to the Co-Op. Thank you for allowing us to make such a big impact in our community!
